Here at Hir Kemmyns we love to spoil you with fresh home cooked food, and we always serve it with a view. Breakfast on the terrace. Afternoon Tea on your patio. And stone-baked Pizza to end the day.

Breakfast

We serve a delicious continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad or fruit compote, followed by home made bread and freshly baked croissants with home made marmalade and jams. Daily specials include fruit muffins, toasted banana bread, and a cooked breakfast on Sundays.

Kick start your day with the finest barista coffee. We make proper espresso coffee using beans from local roasters Olfactory Coffee in Penryn. We also have a good selection of teas, hot chocolate, and fresh fruit juice.

Enjoy breakfast with the morning sun on the terrace, or in our first floor sea view dining room.

Afternoon Tea

Home-baked cake is one of our Hir Kemmyns specialities. Guests often tell us how much they look forward to returning at the end of the day for a slice of Lucy’s cake with a cup of tea on their patio. Specialities include Lemon, Blueberry and Almond Muffins, Jam Doughnuts, and Millionaire’s Shortbread.

Help yourself to fresh tea and coffee throughout the day. The guest room has its own drink-making facility including Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and a selection of tea and coffee. There is also a small fridge perfect for your wine.

Pizza

On Wednesday and Sunday evenings we fire up the pizza oven for our Hir Kemmyns Pizza Nights. Join Lucy in the kitchen to bake your own stonebaked pizza, then sit and enjoy it with a sea view on your patio. Follow with Lucy’s delicious Lemon Semi Freddo pots.

Please give Lucy at least 48 hours notice if you’d like to book in for a Pizza Night. Pizzas are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Sorry we do not currently make gluten free bases.
