St Mawes is a beautiful seaside village at the tip of the Roseland Peninsula, a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the gentler south coast of Cornwall. It’s a sailing haven which means there’s always lots of activity on the water.
The village offers a good selection of restaurants, shops, and things to see and do including three beaches, miles of wonderful walks, sailing, watersport hire, fishing trips, Lamorran Gardens, and St Mawes Castle. It also has excellent foot passenger ferry links with Falmouth, Place (for coastal walks around St Anthony Head), National Trust Trelissick, and Truro.
